Vintage Baker's Table dating from the 1940s, which was part of a clearance we did on an old bakery in Carmarthen- this one was found in an outhouse. The frame has been heavily restored, painted black and distressed. It retains the original sycamore top which has lots of dinks, scratches and some traces of old woodworm; which have been fully treated. There are two original drawers, which open and close smoothly, with brass cup handles. A shelf has been added in the middle where there would have been a space for the baker's trays. Along the bottom are old potting boards which run the entire length a practical open storage area. It runs on four castors, which make it easy to move if required.
This is a double sided unit which is attractive from both sides making it an ideal centrepiece in a kitchen.
