Didn’t everyone have an Aunty called Hazel in the 1970s? BigJon certainly did and this wonderful, reproduction of an original still life by French painter Jacques Blanchard (1912-1992) really reminded us of the kind of thing we would regularly admire on Sunday tea visits to our favourite Aunt and Uncle.
The classic still life subject matter which Blanchard was famous for depicting is printed onto board, and boasts its original frame (both Circa 1960s). It’s ready to hang - so you just need to find a place in your home where it can inspire the next generation of Sunday tea chair kickers and their house proud grown-ups.
