These are another interesting find from a recent French sourcing trip. It's a fisherman's keep net or Bourriche as they are called in France. They're made of wire mesh and were used to hold a fisherman's catch by keeping them in the water during a fishing trip. We've also read that they were sometimes used for snails. They have a great shape and form and we think they look great holding pillar candles or tea lights. We're sure they could be used as hanging baskets too, or even an egg storage basket. This one is a characterful rusty brown.
