Iconic Welsh Salem print depicting a scene within Capel Salem, a Baptist Chapel in Pentre Gwynfryn, North Wales. The original was painted by Cyrnew Vosper. It is a well known Welsh folk tale that the devil is depicted in the Welsh lady’s shawl. This print was a common feature within Welsh homes throughout the early to the mid 20th century. Mounted in a beautiful frame.
