Painted by H Rishworth (1891-1991) in the mid 1970s- this wonderful landscape depicts the ancient ‘Ridgeway' in southern England. We know that because he has kindly written it on the back in pencil for us. When we say back - that’s the image with the duck on that you can see here.
Having sold other other works by the same artist we understand that he was a fan of painting on oil paper and then mounting the finished work to old advertising cards. We’re sure that Mr Rishworth would have loved the thought of his brilliant work finally being framed and hung on a wall.
Delivered flat - sold unframed.
