Atmospheric, late 19th, French oil, impressionist, on board by Charles Pellegrin.

A rust red, gaff-rigged sloop (I'm told) is waiting for the tide. The sailors, in their black caps, concentrate on the rigging and look forward to setting sail as the apricot sun rises over the sea.
