A set of four East Anglian elm and ash country dining chairs. Each has a flat seat and square tapered front legs with box stretchers.
The backrests feature a pierced central splat flanked by two reeded splats, framed by scratch-lined uprights and stay rail. There are some small chips to the woodwork, and evidence of old woodworm, but otherwise they are in very good condition with a nice original patina of age.
