Wonderful, French still life by Roger Oberkampe de Dabrun (1887 - 1969). Six soft, ripe, peaches in hues of burnt orange and cinder red in a ceramic bowl. Shadows of duck egg blue and moss. Painted with an assured hand, with brisk downward strokes in the background. A still life, aching modern.
