A beautifully historical piece, salvaged from a church in Glasgow. This large double sided placard is dated from around the 1930s, and features the advertising of preacher William Hagans visit to Elim Hall. Hand painted lettering onto thick paper, stretched across an oak board and pole. This is a large sign, coming in at over 2 and a half meters tall.
Condition Report – As can be seen in the photos there is extensive damage to one side of the placard. There are a number of different tears, cuts and scuffs across both side, although I feel this just re enforces the character of the item. Due to the age of the piece, the paper itself is quite fragile.
