Manufactured by one of Sweden’s most distinguished 20th century furniture makers back in the 1960s.
This teak sideboard designed by Nils Johnsson for Troeds is a beautiful and simple design, sure to blend in effortlessly with any contemporary or vintage/retro home. Focussed on high-end clients, Troeds sought lightness of form and functionality, producing pieces that were desired by design addicts.
The concertina drawer section epitomises the desired Mid-Century minimalist look as it eradicates the need for protruding handles. The prestigious 'Troeds' maker’s stamp is still present on the inside of the cabinet which also boasts dovetail joints, hidden drawer handles and solid oak legs.
A truly wonderful vintage piece which we're sure won't be in stock for long. In good used condition and structurally solid, we've given the sideboard a good clean and oil although there are still signs of wear including marks, scuffs and a tiny chip on the front rim. All of which are commensurate with age and photographed above.
