About the Artist:
Pär Lindblad regarded himself as self-taught and he made study trips in Norway, Denmark and France.
He painted northern landscape with solitary figures in lyrically emphasized twilight images. He also painted portraits.
An exhibition in Stockholm in 1944 became one of the great successes of the 1940s. He was very productive as an artist and had about 30 exhibitions and participated in collection exhibitions.
Pär Lindblad's art is represented at the National Museum and the Modern Museum in Stockholm, the County Museum Gävleborg and at the museums in Örebro County Museum , Västerås Art Museum , Östersund , and others.
