For a 65 year old typewriter this example is in excellent shape. In gunmetal grey with a sturdy carry case it was manufactured in West Germany, this particular model was made for the US export market noticeable by the lack of ‘£’ key and the inclusion of a ‘¢’ key, but the biggest giveaway is the metal tag on the reverse stating its origin and the fact that it was imported by a New York based corporation. So this typewriter is not only sturdy it is well-travelled! It is offered here in virtually its found condition with just a basic clean and a thorough test to make sure it is working as it should. A great example of a post WW2 piece of German engineering at its best.
