From the 1930s to the 1980s 'Smiths' were one of the most popular and well made clock manufacturers on the British market. Commercially popular, there were few railway stations and businesses that didn't feature a Smiths clock on the wall.
This modest and simple small white plastic framed battery powered clock is a lovely design that would look just as good on the wall today as it did the day it was made.
With an understated and modest face paired with a monochrome colour palette, this handsome little clock is the perfect addition for any room in the house.
In general good condition with the usual light surface wear, markings and discolouring typical with age, the clock has been cleaned inside and out and is in full working order. The original electric mechanism has been replaced with a German Quartz battery pack and takes a standard AA size battery.
Measures approximately 20.5cm in diameter and 6.5cm deep.
