In 1805, Brian Finnigan apprenticed to his father’s friend and former sailing partner, Reuben Farrel, who then made leather goods in Liverpool, especially bags and trunks The house of Finnigans was once one of the finest British leather goods maker and a successful luxury goods retailer. Renown for its traditional know-how and craftsmanship, Finnigans manufactured and produced a wide range of luxury products, including trunks, bags, fashion, jewellery, watches and silverware.
Made from canvas on a metal frame with leather edging, corners and handle. Brass locks and no key.
Original travel labels to top which look lovely.
